NIFFT Recruitment Notification 2014

                                           

NIFFT Recruitment Notification 2014 has been issued for recruiting faculty. National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology (NIFFT), Jharkhand has announced notifications for filling up 57 vacancies for the post of Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors. Candidates who have a Masters Degree/Ph.D. Degree with First Class at M.Sc/M.Tech or equivalent from any recognized university. There are vacancies in the five departments in NIFFT, Ranchi, Jharkhand: Foundry Technology, Forge Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials and Metallurgical Engineering and Applied Science and Humanities. The last date for the submission of the NIFFT Recruitment Notification 2014 application form is 15th May 2014.


Additionally, there is an application fee of Rs 500 for General and OBC candidates and Rs 250 for SC/ST/PWD and Women Candidates. The Application fee for the NIFFT Recruitment Notification 2014 has to be paid through DD, drawn in favor of “NIFFT, Ranchi” which is payable at any Nationalized bank in Ranchi. Applications duly completed in the prescribed format along with the relevant documents have to be sent to : The Director, NIFFT, Hatia, Ranchi-834003 on or before 15th May 2014 latest by 5PM through registered or speed post.

Estimated Pay Scale:

The estimated pay scale for each position has been declared by the NIFFT officials in the NIFFT Recruitment Notification 2014 details section.For the post of an Associate professor (11 vacancies), the estimated pay scale is Rs. 37400- Rs. 67000+GP Rs. 9000. For the post of an Assistant Professor (07 vacancies), the pay scale is Rs. 15600- Rs 39100+GP Rs. 6000, while for a Professor (39 vacancies), the pay scale is Rs. 37400- Rs. 67000+GP Rs. 10000. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of experience to apply for the post of professors, and 8 years of experience for the post of an Associate Professor. 35 of the vacancies are reserved for disabled people, subject to producing a disability certificate in the prescribed format issued by the Competent Medical Board.
