Age Limit: 18 to 22 years
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200
Grade Pay will be Rs.1900.

Recruitment criteria
Age Criteria are as follows (Male & Female):
Must be between 18 to 22 years as on 31st January 2014
(a) Relaxation of 5 years is given for Government servants
(b) Relaxation of 5 years is given to Home Guards with minimum 3 years of service.
Following are the essential eligibility criteria (Male candidate):
1. Should have completed Secondary School Certificate exam or any equivalent qualification.
2. Minimum height should be 168 cms.
3. Unexpanded chest size- 80 cms while expanded size is 85 cms.
4. All physical Efficiency Test should be cleared. It carries no mark but it will decide if the candidate qualifies for further tests.
5. You will be facing a written as well as oral interview from the police department.
6. Knowledge of Konkani as well as Marathi language is desirable
All Application forms which are sent by post should reach on or before 31s January 2014. If they find any applications which are incompletely filled or any applications which are received after 31st of January 2014 will be rejected.
